Genesee Community Services (GCS) provides children and families with a variety of programs to help maintain a strong, healthy, and safe environment for both family and child.

We currently offer the following services: in-home behavior intervention, daily living skills, social skills training and recreation, respite, and mentoring.

Genesee Lake School (GLS)

Genesee Lake School (GLS) is a nationally recognized school dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, neurological disorders, or emotional disturbances. In addition, we offer specialized programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Complex Trauma.

As a Council on Accreditation certified residential treatment program, we follow an individualized, person-centered, and integrated team approach, emphasizing positive behavioral support, therapeutic relationships, and developmentally appropriate practices.

Our 160 acre campus in the wooded Wisconsin countryside is a calm and nurturing setting where students from around the country gain the skills and experiences necessary to successfully return to their families, school districts, and communities. Our goal at Genesee Lake School is to provide an innovative and enriching environment for the students in our care to learn and experience all that life can offer. To provide a place to grow.

Homes For Independent Living (HIL)

Homes for Independent Living (HIL) provides community-based services and supports for individuals with a wide array of disabilities, including but not limited to developmental and physical disabilities, brain injuries, and mental illness. Services range from gentle guidance and assistance to complete residential and comprehensive care. HIL designs homes and supports to meet the unique and varied needs of the individuals whom we serve. We work closely with families, consumers, and placing agencies from initial assessment to the implementation of the best possible services. HIL operates adult family homes, community-based residential facilities, and supervised and supported apartments. We also provide behavioral supports, respite care, specialized brain injury services, home-based day services, individualized hourly supports in the community, personal care and support services for people with complex medical issues, as well as technical assistance and consultation.

Oconomowoc Residential Programs (ORP)

Wisconsin

Oconomowoc Residential Programs, Inc. (ORP) and its family of companies provide specialized services and dignified care for children, adolescents and adults with disabilities. In operation since 1984, ORP oversees eight companies that each year serve more than 1,700 individuals from around the country, in facilities and community-based settings throughout Wisconsin and Indiana.

ORP Management provides support services for all ORP companies, including accounting, finance, human resources, information systems, and executive management.

Paragon Community Services (PCS) provides day services for adults and children. Our goal is to provide greater independence and improve the lives of the people we serve. We strive to maximize personal growth, self-esteem, and happiness in every program participant.

Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc (PWHO)

Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc (PWHO) specializes in providing residential services and supports for children and adults diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). PWHO is nationally and internationally recognized by the PWS community for excellence in the therapeutic treatment and care of individuals diagnosed with PWS. PWHO is one of only a handful of providers in the world with expertise specific to the syndrome and we support more individuals diagnosed with PWS than any other residential provider in the world. Our mission is to provide each individual with the opportunity to explore his/her highest potential of independence within a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

T.C. Harris School (TCH) is a therapeutic school offering day services, group home living, and residential care to students identified with special education needs and behavioral challenges. T.C. Harris School provides expert care for students who represent a wide range of intellectual/developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances, helping them find greater independence, gain emotional and behavioral control, and achieve positive outcomes. As it is our philosophy to respond to the needs of each student on an individual basis and provide appropriate therapeutic care based on their specific needs, T.C. Harris School is able to provide services for a wide array of needs.

T.C. Harris School programs are committed to developing treatment programs which assist the student in social, educational, psychological, vocational, and personal skill development. The treatment environment is focused toward preserving human dignity and enhancing self-esteem. The ultimate goal is the return of the student to the least-restrictive setting possible as a self-motivated person that is aware of his/her dignity as a human being.

The Richardson School (TRS)

The Richardson School (TRS) is a therapeutic day school that specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have diagnoses of developmental/neurological disabilities, and behavioral and emotional issues. The Richardson School helps students to stabilize behavior in a therapeutic non-traditional setting, but also to help them develop appropriate social and functional skills, and to thrive academically. Our goal is to provide students the skills they need to function effectively and successfully, and return to their home school environment as soon as possible.

Transitions Academy of Indiana (TAI)

Indiana

Transitions Academy of Indiana (TAI) provides behavioral health services to adolescents in a 24-hour, structured residential setting. Our program offers treatment services that are best practice and evidence-based, targeted to address the social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health impairments in a trauma-informed environment. The internal continuum of care provides treatment options that are best suited to address the individual treatment needs at any given time during the treatment process. At TAI, re-integration to a less restrictive setting is assessed at the time of admission; therefore, each individual in care has immediate transition goals that play a significant role in the treatment process.
